Lucy, 27
On a busy public bus, sitting on the back row of seats with a young male on my left and an older male on my right, an empty seat either side me, a man gets on the bus, visibly under the influence and sits next to me, placing his hand on my thigh as he does so, jesting “sorry I was just checking if you were a bloke or a woman” I laughed it off and made small talk as the bus was packed an I was frightned and didn’t want to cause a scene, he made jokes about my appearance and music taste saying “he like a bit of slipknot” he then during conversation asked my name to which I replied “Lucy” he then proceeded to tell me that my name rhymes with “pussy”, asking me “what it looked like” and other rude comments along those lines, I once again laughed it off, although shaking and visibly uncomfortable, he kept asking me to get off the bus and go drink with him to which I replied “no” both men who were already sitting on the back row done nothing, said nothing and the older man even laughed when he got off the bus.
